Description

Join as a Systems Engineering intern to make a direct impact on real products. Embedded within the Product Lifecycle Engineering organization, you’ll work on solutions that will enable seamless access and help keep people safe and secure.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including system requirements, interface definitions, and system block diagrams
  • Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of system components and assemblies
  • Participate in design peer reviews and present findings to cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to deliver well-rounded, system-level solutions

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related)
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative (e.g., school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, leadership on school or work projects)
  • Comfortable with hands-on lab work and problem solving
  • Ability to work in both a team and individual setting
  • Effective communication, time management, and creative problem-solving techniques
  • Sophomore year must be completed by the start of the summer internship program for undergraduate candidates
  • Legal authorization to be employed in the United States; no sponsorship intended for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this position
  • Desire to learn, grow, and develop by working on projects that will impact customers
