Description

Quince is looking for a Lead UX Designer to own end-to-end design of key internal Platform Tool product areas that support critical business and operational workflows, such as a Warehouse Management Portal. The role supports complex operational processes and users across different functions and environments, where problems are often ambiguous, interconnected, and dependent on understanding how the business operates. You will help define what should be built and the right experience, and you will actively use AI-powered design and development tools to accelerate exploration, prototyping, iteration, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own UX design end to end across assigned Platform Tool product areas (problem definition and product strategy through detailed design, implementation, and iteration)
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and end users to understand needs, define problems, and determine what should be built
• Translate complex and ambiguous business requirements into simple, efficient, scalable workflows and experiences
• Define information architecture, interaction models, user flows, and detailed UI (hierarchy, patterns, tradeoffs)
• Prototype and iterate quickly to explore ideas, validate solutions, and align cross-functionally before/during development
• Partner with Engineering through implementation to ensure shipped experiences meet high usability, consistency, and quality standards
• Apply and evolve Quince’s Platform Design System and AI-Native Design System by contributing reusable patterns
• Use AI tools such as Claude and Figma Make as a core part of the design process to accelerate work

Requirements

Required:

• 7+ years of UX or Product Design experience
• Experience designing complex B2B, enterprise, SaaS, or operational products
• Proven ability to own ambiguous product problems end to end as a senior IC
• Strong UX and visual judgment across complex, data-heavy workflows
• Strong systems thinking, interaction design, and information architecture skills
• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, Figma Make, or similar tools as part of the design process

Preferred:

• Experience with logistics, supply chain, warehouse, fulfillment, or related operational domains
• Experience designing tools used in physical operational environments
• Experience contributing to design systems or reusable UX patterns
• Experience creating functional prototypes with front-end code or AI-assisted development tools
• Experience designing AI-powered product experiences or workflows

Benefits

• Pay Range: $160,000 - $180,000 + bonus + equity
