Description

The Senior Business Requirements Analyst is responsible for collecting and documenting client requirements for complex solution implementations, including new client implementations, upgrades, add-ons, and betas. The role communicates with the client to assess system requirements across hardware, networks, software applications, and custom requirements, then uses gathered information plus internal process/product knowledge to write the RD and other required documents. Responsibilities may continue through the project life cycle to support the project team in understanding and updating business requirements, and the analyst may lead test planning.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect and assess customer requirements for network, software application, environment information, and custom requirements
  • Facilitate discovery meetings with customer and internal resources to develop and review the RD
  • Lead and/or support SOW creation to ensure client requirements are captured for accurate estimates (within 10% of actual costs, excluding scope changes)
  • Create the RD for the complete defined solution to define configuration, modifications, and deployment; update the document throughout discovery
  • Define documentation requirements for the engagement, include custom documentation effort in estimates, and acquire client signoff as appropriate
  • Organize and facilitate transition meetings with the implementation team to review product setup requirements; may continue in a QA role to ensure delivery matches the RD

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Technical writing with 3 years experience OR HS/GED with 7 years experience working in multiple financial and/or remittance check processing systems
  • 2+ years leading discovery for financial technology projects
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
