Job Description

MountainView Medical Group, affiliated with MountainView Regional Medical Center, is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified General Orthopedic Surgeon. Adult Reconstruction fellowship training is welcomed. Join an established, high-demand practice serving a primary service area of more than 225,000 residents across Southern New Mexico, with immediate patient volume.

About Your Work

• Employed, full-time practice
• Join 3 physicians and 2 APPs
• Anticipated 1:4 call, covering a single hospital
• Level III trauma, 22-bed emergency department with 48,000 ED visits in 2025
• 168-bed hospital with 8 modern OR suites, dedicated blocks, MAKO availability, high-definition fluoroscopy, an efficient tenured OR team with First Assist, and 24/7 anesthesia coverage
• Athena EMR and Suki AI scribe technology
• Fully equipped clinic with an experienced support team, adjacent to the medical center
• Established referral network supported by 18 physician clinics, a 10-bed freestanding ED, 3 urgent care centers, and dedicated outreach and marketing support
• Multidisciplinary support, including inpatient/outpatient therapy, MSK radiologists, infusion therapy, interventional pain management, PM&R, and athletic partnerships with New Mexico State University
