Hospitalist Needed for Busy Existing Service

Baptist Health Medical Center–North Little Rock is seeking 2 Hospitalists to join a busy service at its 250-bed facility. This position follows a 7 on/7 off schedule.

Description

The role entails teaching and supervising Internal Medicine residents, who handle admissions during the shift. The Baptist Health/UAMS Internal Medicine Residency is located on campus and accepts 15 residents per year.

The facility offers a state-of-the-art setting and EPIC EMR. Hospitalists work closely with a full array of surgical and medical specialists who frequently request consults from the hospitalist group. The group includes more than 50 physicians and covers hospitals in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Conway, Arkadelphia, Malvern, and Heber Springs.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must be board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine. Experienced Family Physicians may be considered. J-1 and H-1B visas are accepted.

Facility

The medical center has 250 licensed beds and provides comprehensive services. Its Emergency Department is a Level III trauma center, providing advanced trauma life support prior to transfer to a higher-level trauma center. A rehabilitation institute and two medical office buildings are located on campus, providing convenient access to additional healthcare services.
