Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Neuro-Oncology Physician, you will provide care to patients throughout the Puget Sound region. The role works with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Surgical Oncology specialists to deliver personalized cancer treatment, coordinated care, and support for complex cancer cases.

Candidates should be interested in growing the service line and building relationships with the employed physician referral network. You will work alongside local and regional cancer care specialists to improve quality, enhance the patient experience, and advance clinical standards.

You will provide compassionate, expert care by conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patients and their families. Success in this role requires expertise in diagnosing and managing complex diseases, strong communication skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams
  • Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for patients with a wide variety of diseases
  • Offer guidance and support to patients and families regarding educational resources and community services
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care
  • Stay current with Neuro-Oncology research and best practices to provide evidence-based care
  • Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote awareness of cancer care and blood disorder issues

Compensation and Benefits

A guaranteed starting salary followed by a wRVU model, a starting bonus, and relocation assistance are offered. Retirement plans include both 401(k) and 457(b).

Job Requirements

Required

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified Neurology (ABPN)
  • ACGME-accredited Neurology residency
  • Fellowship training in Neuro-Oncology
  • Active Washington State medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families

Preferred

  • 2+ years of experience following training
  • EPIC experience

Pay Range

$360,667–$450,000 per year
