What’s the role about?

Purpose of Role

Responsible for the design, creation, testing, and documentation of new and amended programs from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed standards. Provides application maintenance and support services directly to application users or service delivery functions.

Key activities

Product Development

• Design, develop, implement, and test modules and products in line with agreed timelines, budget, costs, quality, and development standards.
• Participate in calculating development and product costs.
• Contribute to producing, maintaining, and testing maintainable solutions with a low density of defects.

IT Integration

• Provide integration facilities and logistics provisions.

Process Improvement

• Suggest and implement process improvement proposals within projects.

Innovation

• Actively use new technologies and methods to develop highly competitive products.

Documentation

• Provide technical documentation for delivered modules and products in line with internal standards.
• Create analytical documentation for required code and functionality changes, as well as technical specifications and manuals.

Project

• Create project documentation for software creation and development, including plans, schedules, estimates, and general scope of work.
• Create sales documentation, including offers, project descriptions, role descriptions, and proofs of concept.

Maintenance

• Provide back-level maintenance support and problem solving for own modules and, where necessary, third-party components.

Lifecycle

• Provide development support throughout the lifecycle of modules and products, including bug fixing.
• Develop new versions and updates based on defined requirements.

Technical Expertise

• Maintain a high level of product and solution knowledge.
• Keep the skill profile up to date.

Who are we looking for?

• Proven experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including platform configuration, administration, and support.
• Knowledge of 2 of the following areas:
  • ServiceNow AI Agents
  • Customer Service Management (CSM)
  • Data Foundation (CMDB & CSDM)
  • Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
  • Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
  • HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
  • Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
  • IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • Platform Administration
  • System Administration
  • Vulnerability Response (VR)
