What we achieve together

As the Tech Lead in a Data Engineering team, you take responsibility for the technical direction of data platforms, especially Databricks, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high data quality while making key technical decisions.

Together with your team, you implement critical components and frameworks, define coding standards, and ensure best practices through hands-on engineering and code reviews.

  • Mentor and coach engineers.
  • Resolve technical challenges and structure complex topics into actionable tasks that enable efficient delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess idea feasibility, estimate effort, and provide input for project planning.
  • Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and deployment practices while ensuring alignment with product goals and stable environments.
  • Evaluate new technologies, promote automation and DevOps practices, and identify and reduce technical debt.

What makes us successful together

  • Qualification: Degree in computer science, data engineering, information systems, or a comparable field.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in data engineering, including ownership of technical leadership or senior engineering responsibilities.
  • Know-how and skills: Strong expertise in data architecture, data modelling, and ETL or ELT processes; solid knowledge of Python, SQL, Spark, orchestration tools, and system design principles.
  • Nice to have: Experience with cloud-based data platforms, modern data stack technologies, and CI/CD or DevOps practices.
  • Personality: Proactive and empathetic professional who can clearly communicate complex technical topics, inspire others, and work collaboratively in an agile environment toward long-running strategic goals.
  • Language skills: Confident English communication.
