Senior UI Designer

Senior • Remote

180,000 - 264,000 PLN/yr

Warsaw, Poland

As a Senior UI Designer, you’ll shape how people interact with physical devices, including apps that pair with smart rings, interfaces that control high-end speakers, and live heart-rate displays. You’ll take designs from the first client workshop through production, collaborating with UX designers and developers on products for international startups, scale-ups, and enterprise clients.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct UI direction workshops that turn client vision, benchmarks, and often loosely defined brands into a clear product UI direction.
  • Guide clients in translating and scaling their brand personality into the digital world, creating distinctive, engaging, accessible, and easy-to-use mobile apps.
  • Create design systems, high-fidelity mockups, micro-animations, and prototypes for new and existing products and features, mostly native iOS and Android apps.
  • Design interfaces where software meets hardware, including pairing flows, device status, and sensor-data visualization.
  • Support projects from initial design to final production in close collaboration with developers, QA, and PMs.
  • Help implement and develop branding and create graphic materials for digital channels.
  • Experiment with new ideas, trends, and tools, and turn effective approaches into team standards.
  • Share knowledge through chapter sessions, tech talks, and the design community.
  • Use AI tools as part of the daily workflow.

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years of commercial UI design experience and genuine interest in product design.
  • Advanced Figma skills, including design systems built with components and auto-layouts and well-organized files.
  • Hands-on experience designing interfaces for IoT and connected devices.
  • A broad portfolio of visually rich work.
  • Solid knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Android platform guidelines, with a passion for mobile technology.
  • Experience with motion and animation.
  • Strong aesthetic sense and ambition to create beautiful, useful apps.
  • Very good English (C1), as clients are mostly US-based.
  • Confidence presenting designs to clients, explaining decisions, and joining pre-sales calls.
  • Initiative, ownership, and clear communication.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing for wearables, health-tech, or smart audio.
  • Basic Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
  • Experience with motion-design tools such as After Effects, Rive, Lottie, or similar.

How we work

  • Fully remote, with optional access to an office in Warsaw.
  • Flexible working hours; most team members work between 10:00 and 18:00 CET, when most meetings take place.
  • Planned evening calls with US-based clients, sometimes a couple of times per week, up to approximately 20:00.
  • Work within the UX&UI Design chapter for knowledge-sharing and growth, while contributing to a project squad led by a PM alongside mobile and firmware engineers, QA, and UX designers.

What you’ll get

  • 15,500–22,000 PLN net per month on B2B, depending on experience.
  • 26 days of paid leave.
  • 10 days of paid sick leave.
  • Saltus medical care.
  • Training budget.
  • Flexible hours and autonomy in organizing your day.

Your first weeks

You’ll have space to ramp up before joining live project work, while receiving support if a project needs you sooner. You’ll be paired with a buddy from the design team and take on progressively larger tasks. Feedback is provided early and often so adjustments can be made quickly.

Recruitment process

The entire process is conducted in English, and interviews are recorded for internal evaluation purposes.

  • Application with screening questions and portfolio.
  • Portfolio review.
  • HR call of approximately 45 minutes.
  • Technical interview of 30–60 minutes with the design team.
  • Final feedback.
