About the role

The Generalist Engineer will join the Marketing AI Team to enable AI transformation across the marketing organization by building foundational products and tools. This is a cross-stack, cross-domain role for a problem solver who can take ownership of ambiguous problems and turn them into reliable production solutions.

The engineering team is based in Kraków and reports to a local Engineering Manager. The role follows a hybrid work model, with office attendance expected at least 50% of the time each month.

Responsibilities

  • Own problems end to end: work with partners to understand needs, ship solutions, and ensure they perform in production.
  • Make autonomous decisions on architecture, trade-offs, and priorities; support decisions with data.
  • Work directly with stakeholders across the business and translate unclear requests into finished products.
  • Use AI tools effectively in daily work while critically evaluating their output.
  • Query, analyze, and interpret data to support evidence-based decisions.
  • Develop into an engineer whom others rely on for challenging projects.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one backend language; Go is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience querying, wrangling, and interpreting data.
  • Fluency and practical experience working with AI and LLMs, with a skeptical and critical approach to their output.
  • Ability to work independently and recognize when collaboration is needed.
  • Strong passion for security.

Preferred qualifications

  • Interest in Zig or Rust.

Compensation

The starting base salary range is typically zł 245,000–zł 275,000. Equity is part of the total compensation plan.

Hybrid-work expectations
