Job Description

You will be joining a strategic project for a European institution linked to security and border control activities. The project aims to develop a new generation of systems capable of reporting and disseminating information on incidents in real time. The solution will implement new requirements set out in a regulation recently adopted by the European Commission.

As a Systems Analyst, you will contribute to defining the system by analysing business processes and requirements, transforming them into system specifications and architectural models, and documenting applications and data.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse business processes and requirements.
  • Elicit, analyse and document business processes, capabilities, functional and non-functional requirements, and user stories; ensure alignment with business objectives and identify potential solution options.
  • Design system and data architectures by translating business requirements into system specifications and modelling application and data architectures using UML and enterprise modelling tools, including logical data models, use cases, system behaviour, acceptance criteria and UI prototypes in collaboration with UX specialists.
  • Support solution design and the system lifecycle by collaborating with architects, developers, testers and product owners to ensure consistent, scalable and secure solutions.
  • Prepare documentation and communicate solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of proven professional experience in systems analysis, requirements engineering and software design for complex information systems.
  • Expert knowledge of UML.
  • Proven experience modelling application and data architectures, including logical data models, use cases and system specifications.
  • Practical experience with enterprise modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and system integration principles.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile (Scrum) environments.
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.

Additional Information

  • Work model: Remote, except for the first day in the client's Warsaw office to collect materials and a laptop.
  • Type of contract: B2B.
  • Rate: up to 165 PLN/H net + VAT.
