Position Summary

Recruiting a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon to serve as the clinical leader of the Vascular Surgery program. The physician will develop and expand vascular services, increase program volume, and enhance regional access to advanced cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Vascular Surgery program.
  • Grow vascular and endovascular service lines and strengthen the regional market presence.
  • Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with cardiovascular specialists, interventionalists, and referring physicians to coordinate patient care.
  • Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and outcome-driven patient-care strategies.
  • Work within the Heart Institute to build on the infrastructure of a system-wide vascular network.
  • Contribute to program development, physician education, and community outreach.

Clinical Expertise

The candidate should be proficient in a broad range of vascular procedures, including:

  • Open and minimally invasive endovascular procedures.
  • Endovascular aortic interventions.
  • Surgical procedures, including endarterectomy and bypass grafting.
  • Dialysis access management, vascular disease management, and emergent vascular conditions.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Board Certification in Vascular Surgery.
  • Current unrestricted Georgia medical license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Demonstrated expertise in open and endovascular vascular procedures.
  • Commitment to quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and program growth.

Job Requirements • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. • Board certification or board eligibility in Interventional Cardiology with the American Board of Internal Medicine. • Have or obtain an Oregon medical license and DEA certificate. • Specialty training completed at an ACGME-accredited facility. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
