About the Role
As a Technical Program Manager for component and system validation, you will work cross-functionally with vehicle engineering, suppliers, and the project management team to drive test planning into tactical and detailed road maps that facilitate effective execution at each stage of growth. You will work with validation and engineering teams to develop schedules, identify milestones, flag risks, estimate budgets, and clearly communicate ongoing progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with validation and engineering teams to understand part availability, part maturity, test status, and timing across multiple components and subsystems
- Manage burndown of risks on a timely basis
- Create detailed summaries of testing timelines, issues, risks, progress, and accomplishments to share with stakeholders
- Translate top-down corporate strategy and milestones into detailed product roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables
- Deliver technical presentations explaining validation initiatives to consumer teams
- Ensure validation teams understand deliverables and proactively remove obstacles to drive progress
- Identify communication or scheduling gaps and support teams balancing competing priorities
- Define and manage processes and regular meetings
Required Skills & Experience
- BS or MS degree in engineering or equivalent job experience
- 2+ years of experience in engineering, program management, or management consulting
- Strong track record of managing complex cross-functional projects
- Ability to maintain big-picture focus and provide clear, structured communication tailored to audiences
