Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with EMC/RF engineering teams to scope and analyze regulatory and industry compliance requirements.
  • Gather, document, and track brand partner requirements beyond industry standards.
  • Plan and direct compliance testing with external third-party labs and internal test assets.
  • Manage test setup readiness including chambers, testers, peripherals, and software.
  • Coordinate with software TPMs, engineers, brand partners, and design teams to integrate regulatory testing timelines into program plans.
  • Communicate EMC/RF/Safety/Cybersecurity compliance strategies, risks, and execution status to leadership teams.
  • Drive cross-functional debugging and prioritize test plans based on critical path assessments.
  • Develop new processes, workflows, and documentation strategies to support program growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in RF/Microwave Design, Electromagnetics, Antenna, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong leadership skills in driving certification labs and prioritizing testing activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Atlassian applications including Jira and Confluence.
  • 5+ years of experience in wireless regulatory compliance, testing, and certifications.
  • 5+ years of experience with wireless technologies including Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, WWAN, GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G.
  • 5+ years of experience launching mass-produced consumer or automotive electronics.
  • Experience with international homologations, industry certifications, and carrier certifications.
  • Bonus: Experience using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, call boxes, semi-anechoic chambers, and OTA chambers.

Salary Range

  • $120,000–140,000
  • Compensation depends on location, qualifications, education, and experience.
