About the Role

Happy Money seeks a strategic Head of Acquisition Marketing to own and scale customer acquisition capabilities, with a primary focus on driving profitable loan originations. This is a builder's role for a data-driven leader who can set strategy and build a coordinated, multi-channel acquisition engine while balancing aggressive growth with disciplined spend to optimize customer acquisition costs.

You will lead a high-impact team executing and optimizing multi-channel campaigns (direct mail, digital, lead generation, and affiliate partnerships) using data, experimentation, and rigorous analysis to achieve profitability targets. The role partners closely with Lifecycle Marketing to maximize lifetime value and requires a player-coach mindset with both strategic ownership and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end acquisition strategy and deployment, driving scalable and profitable growth
  • Translate market trends, competitive dynamics, and channel shifts into durable strategies
  • Develop and scale performance marketing across direct mail, lead-gen email, affiliate, digital, and content channels
  • Optimize CAC and unit economics through disciplined budget allocation
  • Own forecasting, budget pacing, and performance reporting in partnership with Finance
  • Foster a rigorous test-and-learn culture grounded in experimentation and data
  • Communicate complex tradeoffs and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
  • Build, hire, and mentor a high-performing growth marketing team leveraging internal, agency, and AI resources
  • Drive go-to-market, brand, and product marketing initiatives for new customer acquisition
  • Serve as subject-matter expert on martech, AI, attribution, and growth-driving product features

About You
