We are currently looking to hire a Residential Security Agent Team Lead to join our team embedded with our client in Palo Alto, California. This position is onsite.

Job Description

The Residential Security Agent Team Lead will serve a critical security function while maintaining a customer service focused approach. The individual will actively manage the residential security team (RST) and work closely with the client's executive protection (EP) team to ensure deliverables are met, process alignment is maintained, and program development is sustained. This is a full-time position managing a team providing 24/7 coverage with 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, following a 4/3 and 3/4 schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day RST operations including personnel, scheduling, equipment, processes, procedures, and incidents
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) advising the client on residential security
  • Collaborate on development of SOPs, response plans, and security infrastructure improvements
  • Brief the EP team and report incidents and suspicious activity
  • Support threat management and emergency response as first point of contact
  • Maintain equipment inventory and administrative documentation
  • Monitor and manage camera systems, access control technology, and other security tools
  • Monitor critical facility functions as assigned
  • Address unknown visitors, phone calls, and contacts
  • Maintain proactive communication regarding risks and service delivery
  • Provide high-standard customer service to clients, guests, and staff
  • Ensure completion of required plans, surveys, and reports
  • Comply with all regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Provide coverage and perform duties of RST members as needed

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years' experience in armed residential security
  • Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring security personnel
  • Experience managing small teams
  • Current CA State Guard Card (unarmed position)
  • Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification
  • Experience in high-touch, customer service environments
  • Strong professional bearing and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing conditions
  • High ethical standards and discretion with confidential information
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Physical ability to patrol large property on foot and assist in emergencies
