As a Digital Sales & eCommerce IT Systems Development Manager (Engineering Manager), you will lead IT engineering and systems development for digital sales and eCommerce platforms, connecting business ambition with technology strategy, system architecture and software engineering.
Your impact at NN: what you’ll do
In this role, you will lead IT engineering and systems development for digital sales and eCommerce platforms, combining software engineering best practices, architecture, security and business needs. You will shape the technological vision and roadmap, build and mentor strong agile engineering teams, and ensure that digital solutions are robust, scalable and maintainable. Your work will support continuous improvement and innovation in a regulated financial environment while delivering a high-quality customer experience through reliable technology.
Key responsibilities
- Co-create and review the architecture of modern digital solutions and applications, ensuring scalability, security and long-term value.
- Inspire teams with new technologies and support a modern engineering culture based on DevSecOps principles.
- Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders to define and deliver the product vision.
- Take ownership of the domain budget, monitor costs and collaborate closely with controlling teams.
- Build, develop and lead effective, engaged agile teams, supporting their continuous growth and maturity.
Who you’ll work with
You will lead a team of around 15 people in the Digital Customer Systems area, including frontend and backend developers, IT systems analysts, software engineering leads and software quality analysts. The team collaborates closely with the Product Owner, IT Architect, Cybersecurity and DevOps engineers to deliver secure, scalable and customer-focused digital sales and eCommerce solutions.
