Build the Future of Cancer Care in the Lakes Region

Concord Hospital’s Payson Center for Cancer Care is seeking two board-certified/board-eligible Medical Oncologists to play a pivotal role in developing a new medical oncology practice in Laconia, New Hampshire. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of cancer care in a community with a significant and increasing need for oncology services. Providers will collaborate clinically with independent community partners in Medical and Radiation Oncology, as well as surgical specialists, to provide state-of-the-art oncology care in Central New Hampshire.

The Payson Center for Cancer Care is accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer (CoC) as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center. The program delivers fully integrated, multidisciplinary cancer care, bringing together medical, radiation, and surgical oncology alongside oncology-trained nurse navigators, social workers, and nutritionists to ensure coordinated, patient-centered treatment.

Position Highlights

Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in medical oncology and hematology, including evaluation, treatment planning, and longitudinal follow-up.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, patient-centered cancer care.
Participate in weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards and Cancer Committee initiatives.
Contribute to program growth, quality improvement, and service line development.
Engage in clinical trials and advance innovative oncology care.
Demonstrate commitment to clinical excellence, professional growth, and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited school of medicine
Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology
Board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology (ABIM)
Eligible for licensure in the state of New Hampshire
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient-care skills
