Description
This position serves as a senior technical expert supporting the full lifecycle of information technology applications and infrastructure. The role is responsible for documenting current operational processes, assessing them against established best practices, and developing actionable plans to advance organizational maturity.
In this role, you will provide high level analytical support, evaluate the business impact of technology solutions, and contribute to strategic planning and decision making. As a key member of the technical advisory team, this position ensures that systems, processes, and improvements align with organizational objectives and deliver measurable value.
Responsibilities Include
- Analyze and document current business processes, systems, and operational workflows.
- Evaluate existing operations against best practices and develop improvement plans and milestones.
- Lead requirements gathering and translating business needs into clear technical specifications.
- Provide expert guidance on the business impact of new or existing technologies.
- Support system enhancements, integrations, and modernization initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain accurate process and system documentation.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, reviews, and working sessions.
- Assess the impact of proposed system or process changes.
- Mentor junior analysts and ensure quality of analytical deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to support successful project execution.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Experience
- Five (5) years of relevant experience
- Experience leading or supervising a team of specialists in developing, managing, maintaining, and evaluating current state-of-the-art computer hardware, software, and software development tools.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree
Security Clearance
- Must possess an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (current DoD Secret clearance).
Work Location
This is a hybrid position requiring the selected candidate to work on-site at the client's facility in Northeast Philadelphia at least one (1) day per week (currently Wednesdays). Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to support on-site requirements as needed.
The government may modify the work schedule at any time, including a potential transition to full-time on-site support (five days per week). Applicants should be prepared to accommodate this change if directed.

Compensation and Benefits
The projected salary range for this position is $100,000+ annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including years of relevant experience, active security clearance level, certifications, technical skillset, contract requirements, and overall qualifications.
