Meade, MD 📃 Skills: RMF, DoDI8510.01, SRG, eMASS, GRC, Azure, AWS, SSP, SAR, RAR, POA&M, Cloud, Cybersecurity, IAM, IAT 🏢 Description: Senior Cyber Cloud Assessment Engineer AGE Solutions is seeking a Senior Cyber Cloud Assessment Engineer to support a cybersecurity risk management and assessment program for a DoD customer. As a Team Lead, you will perform analysis, conduct independent validation of assessments, and support Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) for authorized Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and Cloud Service Offerings (CSOs). This role requires full-time onsite support at Ft. Meade, MD. Responsibilities: - Conduct cybersecurity assessments and validations of Cloud Service Offerings (CSOs) in support of the DoD Provisional Authorization (PA) process. - Evaluate CSP documentation packages in accordance with government guidance, including Cloud Architecture Diagrams, System Security Plans (SSP), SSP Addendums, Readiness Assessment Reports (RAR), System Architectures, Security Assessment Plans (SAP), Security Assessment Reports (SAR), and Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms). - Review and process Change Requests, Extension Requests, Deviation Requests, Whitelist Requests, Corrective Action Plans, templates, approvals, and continuous monitoring artifacts. - Prepare and deliver up to 30 Cloud Security Assessment Packages annually, including validated controls, certifier recommendations, and residual risk statements. - Participate in technical kickoff meetings and assess CSP readiness posture. - Analyze and provide feedback on RARs, SAPs, SSPs, and architectural diagrams. - Assess and document operational impact of authorizations, changes, and vulnerabilities. - Develop Cloud Security Assessment Packages including SARs, POA&Ms, and Deviation Requests. - Draft Authorization Recommendation Memoranda outlining compliance, residual risks, and technical findings. - Prepare formal DoD Provisional Authorization memoranda detailing authorization terms and usage considerations. - Validate CSO controls within eMASS or other government-provided GRC tools and ensure accurate tracking in Mission Status Reports (MSR). - Review and verify Customer Responsibility Matrices (CRM) and control inheritance in eMASS/GRC systems. - Upload and monitor system-level POA&Ms in eMASS. - Organize documentation and associate artifacts with applicable security controls in eMASS. - Maintain and update DoD Cloud Process Guides, templates, and checklists. - Assist in developing internal requirements and guidance for CSP validations. - Refine assessment procedures to align with DoDI 8510.01 and the DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG). - Contribute to annual updates of DoD Cloud Assessment Process Guides. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field preferred - Eight (8) years of experience in cybersecurity or network security - Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility - DoD 8570 IAM/IAT Level III certification - Familiarity with Azure, AWS, and other cloud platform security controls - Strong understanding of DoD RMF, DoDI 8510.01, and DoD SRG - Hands-on experience with eMASS or government GRC tools - Experience with SSPs, SARs, RARs, and POA&Ms - Ability to analyze complex cloud architectures and assess risk - Strong technical writing skills - Must reside within commuting distance of Ft.
