About the Role

AGE Solutions is seeking a Senior AI/ML Process Engineer to support a DoD customer in modernizing Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes through automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.

This position will identify, evaluate, and recommend opportunities to leverage AI, ML, Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and intelligent document processing to improve the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of cybersecurity and risk management operations.

The successful candidate will collaborate with process engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and government stakeholders to assess workflows and develop innovative solutions that accelerate RMF execution and reduce manual effort.

Responsibilities

Analyze RMF-related business processes and identify AI-enabled modernization opportunities
Evaluate Generative AI, ML, LLMs, NLP, and intelligent document processing technologies
Automate cybersecurity and RMF activities, including:
- Control assessments
- Evidence reviews
- STIG development and maintenance
- Ticket triage
- Connection package reviews
- Cross Domain risk analysis
Develop future-state workflows incorporating AI and automation
Support implementation roadmaps and modernization strategies
Research AI capabilities for RMF and cybersecurity operations
Develop executive briefings, white papers, and technical documentation
Support pilot initiatives and proof-of-concept activities
Assist with workflow automation using ServiceNow, Jira, and RPA

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline
15+ years of experience, including 5+ years in process improvement, cybersecurity, AI/ML, or digital transformation
Experience implementing AI, ML, Generative AI, NLP, or intelligent automation solutions
Experience conducting technical analysis and process improvement initiatives
Current DoD Secret Clearance
Current DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification (Security+, CAP, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)
Proficiency with Microsoft Visio (BPMN, swim-lane diagrams, workflow analysis)
Working knowledge of DoD RMF, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI-1253, DoDI 8500.01/8510.01
Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and RPA
Knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, and intelligent document processing

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting DISA, DoD, or federal cybersecurity programs
Experience with Azure AI, AWS AI/ML services, OpenAI, Anthropic
Familiarity with AI governance and responsible AI principles
Experience developing strategic technology roadmaps
Cloud AI/ML certifications (AWS or Azure)
Lean Six Sigma certification

Projected salary: $170,000+ annually
