Senior Cyber Cloud Assessment Engineer

AGE Solutions is seeking a Senior Cyber Cloud Assessment Engineer to support a cybersecurity risk management and assessment program for a DoD customer. As a Team Lead, you will perform analysis, conduct independent validation of assessments, and support Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) for authorized Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and Cloud Service Offerings (CSOs). This role requires full-time onsite support at Ft. Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

Conduct cybersecurity assessments and validations of Cloud Service Offerings (CSOs) in support of the DoD Provisional Authorization (PA) process.
Evaluate CSP documentation packages including Cloud Architecture Diagrams, System Security Plans (SSP), SSP Addendums, Readiness Assessment Reports (RAR), System Architectures, Security Assessment Plans (SAP), Security Assessment Reports (SAR), and Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms).
Review and process Change Requests, Extension Requests, Deviation Requests, Whitelist Requests, Corrective Action Plans, and continuous monitoring artifacts.
Prepare up to 30 Cloud Security Assessment Packages annually, including validated controls and residual risk statements.
Assess CSP readiness posture and provide feedback on RARs, SAPs, SSPs, and architectural diagrams.
Develop assessment packages including SARs, POA&Ms, and Deviation Requests.
Draft Authorization Recommendation Memoranda and formal DoD Provisional Authorization memoranda.
Validate CSO controls within eMASS or other government-provided GRC tools and track status in Mission Status Reports (MSR).
Review Customer Responsibility Matrices (CRM) and ensure control inheritance in eMASS/GRC systems.
Upload and monitor system-level POA&Ms in eMASS.
Maintain and update DoD Cloud Process Guides, templates, and assessment procedures aligned with DoDI 8510.01 and the DoD Cloud Computing SRG.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field preferred
Eight (8) years of cybersecurity or network security experience
Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
DoD 8570 IAM/IAT Level III certification
Experience with Azure and AWS security controls
Strong understanding of DoD RMF, DoDI 8510.01, and SRG
Hands-on experience with eMASS or government GRC tools
Experience with SSPs, SARs, RARs, and POA&Ms
Ability to analyze complex cloud architectures
Strong technical writing skills
Ability to work onsite at Ft. Meade, MD
