Site Leader I, Chicago, #479

Gopuff is seeking a Site Leader to join the Field Operations team. This role requires a self-starting and entrepreneurial leader to oversee facility operations and lead a local team of Shift Leaders, Field Operations Associates, and independent Driver Partners. The Site Leader is responsible for executing operational excellence and delivering a high-quality customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment leading a workforce
• Retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or equivalent experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong conflict resolution skills
• Strong team development and engagement skills
• Ability to lead in an ever-changing environment
• Proven track record of improving processes and efficiencies
• Ability to work fluid schedules, including peak hours (5pm - 3am), weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk during shifts
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and oversee all facility operations including deliveries, inventory, equipment, and systems
• Drive improvements to key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Order Picking Time, Order Dwell Time, Drive Time, Order Defect Rate, and Cost Per Order
• Drive financial performance by ensuring productivity, labor, and expense targets are achieved
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing and interpreting reports
• Implement and monitor HR compliance, asset protection, safety controls, and quality assurance reviews
• Develop and implement action plans to improve performance and guide management in executing company programs
• Train site leadership to control expenses and labor according to budget and sales volume
• Create and implement plans to improve the financial performance of the facility

Pay

Compensation is based on market pricing and may vary by location.

Chicago, IL: $63,000 - $86,625

Starting pay is determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
