The Global Product Owner P&VA is accountable for the end-to-end ownership, delivery, and performance of the global P&VA solution. This role ensures that the solution effectively supports supply chain and commercial allocations, enabling accurate direct and indirect customer profitability analysis. The Product Owner drives alignment of the product with evolving business needs, governs daily operations, and ensures the system design meets both global and local requirements.
Your responsibilities would include:
defining and owning the P&VA vision, business case, and strategic roadmap in alignment with supply chain and commercial profitability analysis and allocation needs
continuously scanning for market and internal opportunities to enhance allocation capabilities
guarding, improving, and expanding the global P&VA allocation template, ensuring consistent allocation methods and processes across OpCos and business areas
creating, maintaining, and prioritizing the P&VA backlog, translating allocation and profitability requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
overseeing and supporting key testing stages to ensure quality, follow up on issues, and stay closely aligned with ongoing development
representing the voice of the customer to ensure that allocation engine design and enhancements align with user and business needs
facilitating stakeholder feedback cycles for continuous improvement
owning the P&VA budget and managing a cross-functional product team, including vendors and internal contributors
fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment that delivers secure, compliantly and scalable profitability data
guiding P&VA allocation engine deployment efforts, ensuring quality standards for profitability outputs are met
acting as a gatekeeper, ensuring deployments meet agreed global standards and deliver expected P&VA outcomes.
You are a good candidate if you have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Business Control, Finance Processes, D&T or a related field
8–10 years of relevant work experience, including exposure to cross-functional and complex international environments
demonstrated experience in transactional finance and processes, specifically related to the relevant product
Scrum Product Owner training and certification is recommended
familiarity with ERP systems (SAP S/4), and process- and data mapping tools is an advantage
experience with end-to-end process design, platform deployment, and working in a multinational or shared services context
end-to-end process-oriented thinking
analytical and conceptual thinking
experience with process design & mapping, project management, change management, and Agile methodology
english - excellent verbal and written communication skills
ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships and address conflicting priorities

About the role As a Product Owner, you will define the product vision and oversee the development of our advanced IT solutions. You will act as the crucial bridge between business stakeholders, Project Management, Architects, and the Development Team, ensuring that our products deliver maximum business value.
