Supervision: Reports to Volunteer Coordinator or Business Office Manager Key Responsibilities • Assist with general clerical and administrative office duties. • Assist with outbound phone calls to patients or caregivers using approved scripts to gather nonclinical information regarding supplies, equipment, or support needs and relay to hospice staff. • Organize, file, scan, copy, and prepare documents as assigned. • Assist with assembling admission packets, bereavement materials, volunteer packets, and informational folders. • Support data entry and database updates as directed by hospice staff. • Assist with mailings, labeling, inventory organization, and office supply management. • Maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. • Provide administrative support for volunteer services, bereavement programs, or special projects as needed. • Follow hospice office policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. • Completes assigned documentation or tracking of activities as required.
