We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to take ownership of quality assurance activities across complex IT solutions. The role combines hands-on quality expertise with leadership responsibilities and close collaboration with development, product, and business teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and continuously improve the QA strategy and testing processes

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers (manual and automation)

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee end-to-end testing activities across multiple projects

  • Ensure high quality of delivered software through effective test planning, execution, and reporting

  • Drive test automation strategy and support its adoption within the team

  • Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders

  • Manage defect lifecycle and ensure transparent communication of quality risks

  • Take part in release readiness, go/no-go decisions, and production quality monitoring

  • Promote best practices in QA, Agile delivery, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a QA Lead, Test Lead, or Senior QA with leadership responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices

  • Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing (UI and API)

  • Practical knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, or similar

  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates

  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Xray, TestRail)

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

  • Very good command of English (minimum B2 level)

  • Experience with performance or security testing

  • Background in financial services, banking, or other regulated environments

  • ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications
