Introduction & Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to oversee the testing strategies and activities for a complex migration program. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in test management and strong expertise in both functional and non-functional testing. The successful applicant will coordinate multiple testing teams, ensuring alignment with project milestones and regulatory standards, all while maintaining a focus on quality assurance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define, prepare, and own the end-to-end test strategy and plans.

  • Lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple workstreams.

  • Ensure adequate coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Oversee test case design, preparation, and execution.

  • Align testing activities with project timelines and milestones.

  • Monitor and report on testing progress, defects, and quality metrics.

  • Manage risks related to testing and escalate issues proactively.

  • Support business teams with testing phases and best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Facilitate defect resolution with development teams.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Test Manager or QA Lead on complex programmes.

  • Strong test management expertise, including the definition of test strategies.

  • Hands-on experience with functional and non-functional testing.

  • Experience in technology migration or conversion projects.

  • Strong stakeholder management across business and technical teams.

  • Ability to manage testing across multiple teams simultaneously.

  • Experience with test tracking, reporting, and quality metrics.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of VMWare environments.

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other public cloud solutions.

  • Experience testing infrastructure or cloud-based solutions.

  • Familiarity with automation strategies in migration contexts.
