Description

Join a Primary Care practice providing preventive-focused care plus treatment for chronic diseases and acute illnesses. The role uses EClinicalWorks for EMR and Medical Dragon One for dictation to support an optimized workflow, with minimal phone-only on-call.

Responsibilities

• Provide Primary Care to adult patients

• Manage chronic conditions and acute illnesses

• Emphasize preventive care

• Maintain documentation and coding standards (ICD and E/M)

• Work in a collaborative team environment with receptionists, schedulers, medical assistants, nurses, medical billing, and administrative staff

Requirements

• Commitment to long-term employment with ties to the area

• Board certification required for established physicians; residents must be board eligible and secure certification before starting

• Strong knowledge of ICD coding and adherence to E/M coding guidelines

• Professional bedside manner, excellent patient/customer service, flexibility, and compassion
