• Patient volume: 2 new or 3 established patients per hour

• On call: Phone calls only; minimal/light

Description

Provide Primary Care to adult patients with an emphasis on preventive care, managing both chronic diseases and acute illnesses. This role offers a supportive team environment and collaboration with subspecialty physicians, using EClinicalWorks for EMR and Medical Dragon One for dictation to support an efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive adult Primary Care services

• Manage chronic conditions and acute illnesses

• Emphasize preventive care

• Use EMR and dictation tools to maintain efficient documentation/workflow

• Participate in phone-only on-call coverage

• Work with receptionists, schedulers, medical assistants, nurses, medical billing, and administrative staff

Requirements

• Area ties and long-term employment commitment

• Board certification required for established physicians; residents must be board eligible and obtain certification before starting

• Demonstrated bedside manner, excellent customer service, flexibility, and compassion

• Strong knowledge of ICD codes and adherence to E/M coding guidelines
