Description

You will work on the development, maintenance, and administration of IT systems that support business processes in the energy, refining, and petrochemicals sectors. You’ll help define IT solution architecture, gather functional and technical requirements, and collaborate with business teams and external vendors. The role also includes planning CAPEX/OPEX for the systems you implement and maintain, and participating in vendor contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project tasks related to IT systems development, maintenance, and administration in business areas (power/energy, refinery, petrochemicals)

• Support creation of IT solution architecture for processes in the electricity market and the power/energy grid

• Cooperate with business stakeholders to identify and implement IT development needs

• Define functional and technical requirements for deployed and evolving IT systems

• Coordinate with IT solution providers regarding deployments

• Plan CAPEX and OPEX for implemented and maintained IT systems

• Participate in negotiations of vendor agreements

Requirements

• University degree in an IT-technical profile (preferred: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering)

• Several years of experience in a similar position related to implementing and/or maintaining IT systems

• Experience in managing IT projects or working in project teams

• Knowledge of project management approaches: Waterfall and/or Agile

• Ability to analyze business information and requirements; adapt technical/IT solutions to business needs

• Communicative English

• Effective execution and business responsibility

• Drive for continuous development and ability to draw from different perspectives

• B category driver’s license
