Description

Senior Business Analyst to support digital transformation projects in the Energy & Utilities sector, focusing on Operational Technology (OT) and Control Systems. You will translate complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications, perform business process and gap analysis, and support delivery through testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and functional requirements with clients and technical teams

• Work with OT and control systems (ADMS, OMS, DERMS, AMI, SCADA)

• Conduct business process analysis, mapping, and optimisation to identify improvement opportunities

• Perform gap analysis between current processes/systems and proposed solutions

• Identify system integration requirements and collaborate with Solution Architects and development teams

• Act as key point of contact between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams

• Prepare BRD, functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams

• Support solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment activities

• Participate in workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and stakeholder meetings

• Support UAT with test scenario preparation and validation of delivered solutions

• Identify opportunities for process automation, digitalisation, and operational efficiency improvements

• Ensure alignment between business objectives, technical solutions, and project deliverables

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst (preferably Energy & Utilities or OT/Control Systems)

• Practical experience with at least one of: ADMS, OMS, DERMS, AMI, SCADA

• Strong knowledge of requirements engineering and gap analysis

• Experience in business process modelling, mapping, and optimisation

• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications

• Understanding of system integrations, APIs, data flows, and enterprise application architecture

• Experience working with cross-functional teams (developers, architects, testers, business stakeholders)

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps (or similar)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills

• English B2+ (C1 strongly preferred)
