Description

This role leads the design, development, test, debugging, and maintenance of software integrated into embedded devices and systems, ensuring it meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards. You will translate customer requirements into embedded software product design, lead code reviews and analyses for specialized hardware, and drive hardware/software integration. You will also test and debug embedded software, research emerging technologies and tools, and lead embedded software project management and performance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead embedded software design, development, test, debugging, and maintenance integrated into embedded devices and systems
• Lead review, analysis, and translation of customer requirements into embedded software design
• Review embedded software code to run on specialized hardware and lead embedded software/hardware integration
• Lead analysis, monitoring, and improvement of embedded software efficiency and stability
• Lead testing and debugging of embedded devices and systems software
• Research and lead implementation of emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and relevant regulatory changes
• Advise on software and hardware integration domains
• Track and evaluate internal and supplier team performance to ensure compliance with project plans and standards
• Lead embedded software project management functions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Active US Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience
• 1+ years of experience leading software development projects
• U.S. person eligibility for export control compliance
• Complete a technical assessment (coding challenge) to be considered
