Description

Develop and deploy AI-powered solutions with an emphasis on responsible use of AI, while building end-to-end application capabilities across frontend, backend, streaming, and cloud services. Responsibilities include building responsive frontend applications, designing REST and GraphQL APIs backed by high-performance MySQL, and implementing Kafka producers/consumers for reliable event processing. You will also deploy and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based microservices with CI/CD, monitoring, testing, and security/quality tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, intuitive frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred) and TanStack Query

• Design and build REST and GraphQL APIs in Java; integrate with MySQL schemas optimized for high-volume transactional workloads

• Design and implement Kafka producers and consumers (schema design, partitioning strategies, reliable message processing)

• Deploy, configure, scale, and troubleshoot services on Kubernetes-based platforms

• Set up and manage deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions, including reusable workflows and environment secrets; integrate with JFrog Artifactory

• Use enterprise-approved AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for code generation, refactoring, debugging, workflow automation, and documentation

• Monitor logs and performance trends; proactively troubleshoot production issues with Splunk, Dynatrace, Zabbix, and Grafana

• Write JUnit tests with high code coverage; use CodeQL and SonarQube for security and quality remediation

• Participate in PLM activities, code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile ceremonies; maintain detailed documentation for features and security controls

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions addressing complex business challenges with responsible AI practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• 4+ years of full-stack engineering experience with strong backend and frontend development

• 3+ years building AI/ML solutions leveraging LLMs and Generative AI

• 3+ years hands-on cloud application development, deployment, and maintenance (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure)

• 3+ years implementing event-driven streaming with Apache Kafka (schema design and partitioning strategies)

• 3+ years designing high-performance MySQL database schemas for high-volume transactional workloads

• 3+ years configuring, deploying, scaling, and troubleshooting microservices on Kubernetes-based container platforms

• 3+ years with CI/CD tools, automated testing frameworks, and modern build pipelines
