Description

Maintain a clean, attractive, and safe environment in assigned facility areas by performing general cleaning, transport, equipment handling, room setup, trash removal, and linen handling. Distribute supplies to departments as needed and maintain stock levels while ensuring sanitization and safety. Perform duties in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas
• Handle transport, equipment, room set-up, trash removal, and linen processing
• Distribute supplies and maintain departmental stock levels
• Follow standardized procedures to ensure sanitization, safety, and optimal performance

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of maintaining a sterile environment and proper cleaning procedures
• Ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Time management and organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Ability to operate basic environmental service equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-interruption environment
• Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems using established options
