Description

Independently assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs specialized in pelvic health therapy. Treat both male and female patients, including performing and using internal examinations, to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop individualized rehabilitation plans for pelvic health conditions
• Provide pelvic health physical therapy for pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, and post-surgical recovery
• Perform internal examinations and provide appropriate internal treatment
• Organize multiple priorities and complete duties within expected timelines
• Keep abreast of professional practice development and advancements

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
• PT-Physical Therapist license (or approved license applicant/resident training program employee)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider certification
• Home Health department requirements: valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• 2 years of recent relevant experience
• Competency in treating both male and female patients
• Experience performing internal examinations and treatment
