Description

Independently assess, plan, organize, and provide rehabilitative care with a specialized focus on pelvic health therapy. Treat both male and female patients, including conditions related to pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, and post-surgical recovery, using internal examinations and treatment as needed. Aim to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and correct disabling conditions caused by disease or injury.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs for pelvic health patients

• Provide therapy for pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, and post-surgical recovery

• Use internal examinations and internal treatment when clinically indicated

• Apply professional practice and regulatory requirements in day-to-day care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (or graduate with a valid PT license)

• PT-Physical Therapist licensure (or approved license applicant/resident training program employee)

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider certification

• 2 years of recent relevant experience

• Competency treating both male and female patients

• Experience performing internal examinations and treatment

• Ability to work independently and manage complex priorities in a demanding environment

• Department-specific: valid drivers license and automobile insurance for Home Health
