Description

Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across all stages of life in an outpatient clinic. Perform gynecological exams, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic procedures, and complete surgical procedures within your scope (e.g., hysterectomies and cesarean sections). Diagnose and treat women’s health conditions and counsel patients on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct gynecological exams, ultrasounds, and diagnostic procedures

• Perform surgical procedures as permitted by scope of practice

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of women’s health conditions

• Provide counseling on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care

• Maintain accurate and complete medical records

• Stay current with OB/GYN advancements through continuing education

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• OB/GYN residency training accredited by ACGME or AOA

• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology by ABOG or AOA

• Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington

• Preferred: at least 1 year of OB/GYN experience in a clinical or hospital setting
