Description

Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care for patients across all stages of life in an outpatient clinic. You will perform gynecological exams, ultrasounds, and diagnostic procedures, and may perform surgical procedures depending on your scope of practice. Maintain accurate medical records and stay current with advances through continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across all stages of life
• Conduct gynecological exams, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic procedures
• Perform surgical procedures (e.g., hysterectomies, cesarean sections, minimally invasive surgeries) as permitted
• Diagnose and treat women’s health conditions
• Provide counseling on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records
• Use continuing education to stay current with obstetrics and gynecology advancements

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency training in obstetrics and gynecology
• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology (ABOG or AOA)
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Ohio
• Preferred: at least 1 year of OB/GYN experience in a clinical or hospital setting
