Description

Provide comprehensive women’s healthcare across all stages of life as an OB/GYN locum tenens physician. Perform gynecological exams, ultrasounds, diagnostic procedures, and—depending on scope of practice—surgical procedures such as hysterectomies and cesarean sections. Diagnose and treat women’s health conditions while providing reproductive health counseling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct gynecological exams and ultrasounds

• Perform diagnostic procedures

• Perform surgical procedures as appropriate (e.g., hysterectomies, cesarean sections, minimally invasive surgeries)

• Diagnose and treat women’s health conditions

• Provide counseling on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care

• Maintain accurate and complete medical records

• Stay current through continuing education

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• OB/GYN residency accredited by ACGME or AOA

• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology (ABOG or AOA)

• Active and unrestricted Ohio medical license

• At least 1 year of OB/GYN clinical/hospital experience (preferred)
