Description

Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across all stages of life in a locum tenens OB/GYN assignment. Duties include gynecological exams, ultrasounds/diagnostic procedures, and performing surgical procedures such as hysterectomies and cesarean sections (depending on scope). You will diagnose and treat women’s health conditions, provide reproductive counseling, collaborate with other clinicians, and maintain complete medical records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct gynecological exams, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic procedures

• Diagnose and treat women’s health conditions

• Perform surgical procedures as permitted by scope of practice

• Counsel patients on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning

• Maintain accurate and complete medical records

• Stay current on advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing education

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

• ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency training in obstetrics and gynecology

• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology (ABOG or AOA)

• Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license

• Preferably at least 1 year of OB/GYN clinical or hospital experience
