Description

Provide safe and effective preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative anesthesia care for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures. Administer appropriate anesthesia types (general, regional, local), continuously monitor vital signs, and adjust anesthesia levels to maintain patient safety. Document care accurately and collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to develop optimal patient care plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care across the perioperative period

• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare professionals to plan patient care

• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia as clinically indicated

• Monitor vital signs continuously and adjust anesthesia levels as needed

• Respond promptly to emergencies during surgery

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in the medical record

• Stay current with continuing education in anesthesiology

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

• ACGME- or AOA-accredited anesthesiology residency

• ABA- or AOA-board certification in anesthesiology

• Active and unrestricted New Hampshire medical license

• At least 1 year of anesthesia experience in a clinical setting (preferred)
