• Role: Neurology Physician (Locum Tenens)

• Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 7-on/7-off (ongoing). Two locum providers needed.

• Patient Volume: ~10–15 patient encounters per shift

• Setting: Level II Trauma Center (no pediatric coverage)

• EMR: Epic

Description

Provide daytime neurology consultative care and inpatient neurological management, with dedicated stroke coverage in a Level II Trauma Center. You will handle approximately 10–15 encounters per shift and focus on consults and stroke services, while separate night coverage is managed by others. APP support is available on weekdays, with potential weekend support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neurology consultations

• Provide stroke coverage

• Manage inpatient neurological patients

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology

• ACLS and BLS certification

• Active Missouri medical license (or IMLC accepted)

• Clean malpractice and NPDB history

• Credentialing within approximately 30 days
