Description

Locum tenens Emergency Medicine physician opportunity across multiple hospitals in Pennsylvania with a diverse patient population. Depending on the facility, you may be the single physician on shift running codes, stroke alerts, and rapid responses, or provide night backup for med surg and ICU procedures. Estimated privileging timeline: 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform Emergency Medicine duties in assigned emergency departments

• Run codes, stroke alerts, and rapid responses at select facilities

• Back up med surg and ICU on night shifts as needed (including intubations, central lines, and chest tubes)

• Provide care across all age groups

Requirements

• MD/DO

• Board Certified or Board Eligible

• Active Pennsylvania state license or IMLC membership

• Willingness to work at multiple locations as part of the float pool

• Availability for ASAP coverage and the Nov 2026–Jan 2027 contract term

• Ability to commit to at least 4–6 blocked shifts per month
