Description

Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, treatment plan management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. You will also maintain timely EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert psychiatric care for mental health conditions

• Conduct evaluations and diagnostic assessments

• Manage medication

• Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and primary care teams

• Maintain EMR documentation

• Contribute to holistic care focused on dignity and long-term wellness

• Participate in integrated care initiatives

• Work with case managers, RNs, and administrative staff

• Support behavioral health access in a rural community setting

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry

• Active California medical license or ability to obtain

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

• Experience in rural or community mental health settings is a plus
