• Population: Adult/childbearing-age patients

Description

Provide consultative care for a broad range of high-risk pregnancies in an outpatient setting with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule. Manage high-risk cases and perform/interpret ultrasound studies, including Level II targeted ultrasound and fetal echocardiography. Night/weekend call is available/preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and consult on high-risk pregnancies

• Evaluate conditions including pregnancy-induced hypertension, HELLP syndrome, diabetes (Type I, Type II, gestational), cardiac and pulmonary disorders, renal and neurologic disorders, autoimmune conditions, hematologic/oncologic disorders, placenta previa/abruption, and multiple gestations

• Provide genetic counseling and perform amniocentesis

• Perform ultrasound performance and interpretation; strong ultrasound diagnostic skills preferred

• Provide Level II targeted ultrasound and fetal echocardiography

Requirements

• BC/BE in Maternal-Fetal Medicine

• Minimum 1 year of experience

• Active PA license, IMLC LOQ, or willingness to obtain PA licensure

• DEA required

• BLS required

• Epic experience preferred/required

• Clean files can qualify for temporary privileges

• Credentialing approximately 90 days
