• Cardiac: handled by a dedicated cardiac anesthesia team; no trauma coverage
• Care model: supervision-heavy (≈80% supervision, 20% hands-on)

Description

Provide full-time weekday daytime anesthesia coverage in a high-volume surgical environment using a supervision-heavy model (approximately 80% supervision, 20% hands-on). You will manage a diverse surgical case mix and participate in a structured beeper call rotation. Epic is used for documentation, and the care team includes anesthesiologists and a large CRNA team.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for scheduled weekday cases
• Participate in beeper call coverage on weekdays and weekends as assigned
• Manage cases according to the supervision-heavy care model (≈80% supervision, 20% hands-on)
• Document care in Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology (required)
• Active Florida medical license or proof of application upon approval
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Ability to provide 24 months of case logs within 5 days of credentialing approval
• Clean background with no clinical, legal, or pending issues
• No more than 10 prior professional affiliations
• Out-of-state candidates only (primary residence outside Florida)
• Provide a copy of out-of-state driver’s license at submission
• Willingness to participate in a clinical interview with site leadership
• Full-time availability every week of the month and minimum 4-week commitment
• Able to start by June 1, 2026
