Description

Board-certified Interventional Cardiology Physicians are needed for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in an acute care hospital. The assignment includes scheduled inpatient and outpatient coverage, interventional procedures, and on-call responsibilities, including STEMI call. The physician will manage adult patients across a broad age spectrum.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional cardiology care for adults in both hospital and clinic settings

• Perform a full range of interventional cardiology procedures

• Cover scheduled inpatient and outpatient shifts

• Participate in on-call duties, including STEMI call

Requirements

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology

• Active Pennsylvania medical license (willing to license acceptable)

• DEA required

• ACLS and BLS certifications required

• Experience with interventional cardiology procedures including:

  • Right and Left Heart Catheterization

  • Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)

  • Balloon Angioplasty

  • Balloon Pump

  • IVUS

• Experience working in hospital and clinic settings

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
