Description

Lead the automation of microwave network infrastructure by standardizing network models and implementing automated testing and automation components in a strategic program. You will cooperate with an international team responsible for automating transmission network functions across Orange affiliates using microwave, optical, WDM, and IP technologies. Your work includes validating standards-compliant NETCONF/YANG models and supporting deployment in line with engineering rules.

Role & Responsibilities

• Standardization: Collaborate with international operators and vendors to define, promote, and validate NETCONF/YANG models; organize ETSI sessions and ensure standards compliance.
• Automation testing: Design, test, and maintain automation scripts (Robot Framework) to validate network models with vendors such as Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, and ZTE.
• Development: Lead automation activities within the Andiamo program; translate requirements into technical components and support deployment while ensuring standards compliance.
• Communication & collaboration: Work effectively with international teams and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication in English.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in Java (Spring Boot) and Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
• Knowledge of network management systems and protocols: SNMP, NETCONF/YANG, RESTCONF, and APIs.
• Excellent English communication skills; ability to work in a multicultural, dynamic environment.
• Autonomous, proactive, solution-oriented approach with good teamwork and adaptability.
