Description

Join a long-term technology project delivering a modern ecosystem for handling damages and benefits using microservices, process automation, data analysis, and AI. A key area is developing a new fraud-detection system to identify suspicious events and improve business processes. You’ll work on large-scale solutions with complex business logic and high demands for performance, reliability, and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java backend applications using Spring Boot and a microservices architecture.
• Build and evolve REST APIs and system-to-system integrations.
• Work with Apache Kafka and distributed system messaging.
• Develop solutions supporting fraud detection and business-process automation.
• Collaborate on system architecture design and implement new features.
• Create unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain high code quality.
• Use AI-assisted development and agentic AI tools as part of daily development.
• Work with business analysts, a Data Scientist, QA/tester, and developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

• Commercial experience developing in Java (Mid/Senior level).
• Very good knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate.
• Practical experience with Apache Kafka.
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience with databases.
• Experience designing and developing microservices.
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing.
• Understanding of OOP, functional programming, and software design best practices.
• Knowledge of containerization, resilience concepts for distributed systems, and performance diagnostics.
• Knowledge of BPMN and workflow engines.
• Knowledge of Angular and experience creating frontend applications.
• Willingness to use AI tools during development.
