Description

Lead the automation of microwave network infrastructure by standardizing network models, implementing automated testing, and developing automation components within the Andiamo program. Collaborate with an international team working on automated transmission networks for affiliates using Microwave, Optical, WDM, and IP technologies. Ensure standards compliance and support deployment through technical components derived from program needs.

Responsibilities

• Standardize: collaborate with international operators and vendors to define, promote, and validate NETCONF/YANG models, organize ETSI sessions, and ensure standards compliance.

• Automation testing: design, test, and maintain Robot Framework automation scripts to validate network models with major vendors (Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, ZTE).

• Development: lead automation activities within Andiamo, translating requirements into technical components, supporting deployment, and ensuring standards compliance.

• Communication & collaboration: work effectively with international teams, vendors, and stakeholders with clear English communication.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in Java (Spring Boot) and Python.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.

• Knowledge of network management systems and protocols (SNMP, NETCONF/YANG, RESTCONF, APIs).

• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural, dynamic environment.

• Autonomous, proactive, solution-oriented approach with good teamwork and adaptability.
